Recentely I am making some performance tests with my home made mini whip.
The design is the classical active antenna PA0DRT.
Usually I am using my faitful RX from QRPLabs.
The receiving range is from 50khz to 30MHZ.
In the Picture, above the Drake TR7 you cam se the antenna preselector.
With thermoionic tubes. Bands from 80 mt to 10mt.
I am using several SONOFF(WIFI) modules to obtain a sort of remote control.

The antenna was o short dipole , this resemble more
to Rabbits Ears with a short 300 ohms line in the middle
before the radio connector.
In fact I stolen it from an old TV set.
The idea was capturing an mp3 file , but just few minutes
before the sat passage , I realized the I could make a video clip

<br />I am sorry for the terrible quality of the video clip,expecially the audio.
<br /> Yesterday's satellite passage was indicate as "good visibility".
<br /> I have a lot to improve in my reception setup (IC-R6 + 10 mt dipole).
<br /> Before the videoclip processing I was able to identify the audio callsign.
<br /> The 600 hz tone ,decreasing while approaching to the max elevation , was well
<br /> visible with SPECTRUMLAB.
<br /> In any case it was a nice experience !
