This is my 5mW SOLAR MEPT today.
It is triggered every minute from the reference
station DCF77. The signal has a shift about 10HZ
and remenber a camel when the strenght is enough.
In the picture the antenna is not connected (50 ohms dummy load).
My DSB receiver picks it very well even on this conditions.

DCF77 WORLD

Modifying my 100% Chinese alarm clock , I discovered an interesting world.
At the frequency of 77.5KHZ is tranmitting the VLF station DCF77.

Capturing the tiny time digital code (0-1.5V) , by an optoisolator
I made a qucik sincronization with a microcontroller PIC16F84.
I was able to extract one pulse per mitute , necessary for
triggering my 5 mW SOLAR MEPT.

Today with a new setup of my SITECOM WL-601
I gained a faster connection speed 6.8 Mbs/sec.
I reduced The "Beacon Interval" to 20 msc
in the wireless section.

Changing field.
Here is showed the first nice report
of my solar mept , thanks to Peter PA1SDB

A new era started today , after a fantastic speed increase
of my internet connection compared with my previous 5okbps modem.

I hope to be more "internet active" this year compared with 2008.
I lot of micro projects and ideas are going to be published by me.

My SOLAR MEPT source of energy

The power source is the 4x4 cm photocell in this picture.
Up to now I was able to transmit 5 mW max
on 30 mt dipole , into the roofspace.
I receive daily RX reports of it , at 1000 km.
